Father of the martyred commando Sandeep Unnikrishnan threw the chief minister out of his house one night.The mourning family was told that the chief minister was coming and the security guards had to search their house.A sniffer dog was brought in who defecated the house with urine.The security gaurds were adamant to search every clost of the house so that the chief ministers lif is saved.

Tapping this demand, several institutes have launched courses in aviation management. These diploma courses can range from six months to two years.

Gaming has definitely come a long way from its modest beginnings in a laboratory in the 1950s.

The dull, dreary images are a thing of past. The world of animation now is characterised by three-dimensional representations that look like the real world.

Graphiti School of Animation offers a post graduate course in animation for art graduates.

It covers all the processes involved in the making of an animation film and is packed with workshops on puppetry, drawing, acting, film making, film review session.

It is a full time one year course that focuses on concepts of film making, specialisation, production among other things।

Though the emphasis is more on pre-production and concept, students have a hands on experience on the technical aspects as well.

The students will be made to research areas like character design, storyboards, layouts and styling of films. Academy of Gaming and Animation offers game art course in collaboration with Lakshya Digital.

There is a 6-months course for experienced artists and 18-month course for talented freshers. Candidates with strong sketching and visualisation skills with basic knowledge of computers are eligible for the course.

Students can find ready employment opportunities with many companies after they complete the course, Lakshya being one of them as a convener. What the future holds for gaming and animation is anybody’s guess.

After completing the course, candidates can work as concept artists, character designers, game programmers, storyboard artists, layout artists, creative heads and help transform their fantasy and sci-fi imagination into digital adventure.

Eligibility: Graduates with a Degree/Diploma in Fine/Applied Arts.
Course Fee: Rs 0.5-1.5 lakh
Starting Salary: Rs 3 lakh per Annam
